Rep. Jennifer McClellan – U.S. Representative, VA-4

Rep. Jennifer McClellan is the first Black woman to represent Virginia in Congress. In the 119th Congress, she sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. She also serves as a leadership member in the Congressional Black Caucus and the New Democrat Coalition and chairs the Reproductive Freedom Caucus’s Abortion Rights and Access Task Force. Prior to her election to Congress, she served in the Virginia General Assembly from 2006 to 2023.
