Mary Beth has more than 20 years of experience in advocacy and policy development. Her expertise is in connecting policy and practice, with depth of knowledge in child care regulations and legislation and family child care in particular. She has deep experience in policy analysis, capacity building, team building, and mobilization for federal and state policy and legislative affairs. She has led successful advocacy campaigns across a variety of states and at the federal level, representing and building coalitions with child care providers, child care resource and referral agencies, home visiting programs, and the Children’s Defense Fund.
